Training for Councillors

We can provide a wide variety of training for Councillors, from Planning to Licensing to the roles and responsibilities of elected members.

We are one of the few organisations that have specifically developed a training package for local authority Councillors to help them deal with applications under the Licensing Act 2003.

The Course is intended to equip councillors to hold licensing hearings, covering their roles, responsibilities and powers.

At present, we are only offering this course on an in-house and have delievered it to a variety of local authorities throughout the country. Often, local authorites have hosted the course and opened it up to their neighbours for a small charge, thus recouping their costs and providing effective free training.
